Engineering and Consulting: RM's
30 years of fleet management experience and association with the Country's
foremost Fortune 100 companys
assures customers they will receive professional assistance utilizing
Total Quality Management principles and lessons learned while participating
in the Malcolm Baldridge Service Award. From entry point to end user
Radiomobile will analyze each link in the process of the customers fleet
management cycle and uncover areas where problems exist or where improvements
can be made. RM relates these issues to values the customer can measue
in financial, competitive or personnel terms.
.A “Benefit Analysis” with measureable results is included
which ensures the customer understands what he is purchasing and the
results he can expect.
Design
services: RM will create the total solution
for our customs that meets or exceeds their expectations, and presents
the best use of existing infrastructure, software applications, off
the shelf solutions, and ease of use for both the end users and management.
Details for impact, cost and time to implement are elements of any design.
Hardware: RM has its own solutions
for mobile hardware, from Location
and Status to Windows® base terminals of one piece or multiple components.
We provide conventional modem technology covering speeds from 2400bps
to 19.2 kbps and higher. We use the customers private as well as public
networks and package the required functions to facilitate implementation,
use and maintenance.
Software:
RadioMobile's IQ Gateway, Link and mobile applications have been operational
for many years. Additional features and functions are continuously developed
to ensure they meet the ever changing needs of our customers and cost
effective technology. The software is based on both UNIX and Windows®
operating systems, C, C++, C# in a ".net" Windows development
environment.
Solutions: RadioMobile has developed
high volume AVL reporting systems using its higher speed
conventional networks capable of providing over 14,000 location reports
per base station per hour. It also provides status and limited messaging
using its CMX status heads most notably used by Emergency Medical customers.
Moving to more interactive solutions, RM provides it mobile application
taylored to interface with major CAD providers using button touch screen
hardware and the ability to select one or more networks to ensure mobile
connection as necessary. Most of RM solutions utilize the Gateway to
interface with CAD Hosts, map servers and LAN based data bases over
the customer's inhouse Ethernet network. On the mobile side, the Gateway
manages the wireless ommunications over a variety of networks using
individually configured serial ports. Definitions within the Gateway
allow the use of different mobile devices within the system and to configure
messages appropriately for that device. For Public Safety customers RM
has certified interfaces with many different states for CJIS and NCIC
querys by their authorised officers.
Networking:
RM has wireless network interfaces including Private
conventional networks, Public GPRS and CDMA 1x rtt service, L-Band Satellite,
EDACS and inband voice. RM uses IP interface protocols in most cases
and continues to support efficient MMP protocols for existing systems.
