Services

Engineering and Consulting: RadioMobile’s 30 years of fleet management experience assists our customers to uncover problems with their existing system from entry point to end user. By analyzing each step or link in the chain and uncovering areas for improvement or problems to be resolved, RM can assist the customer to understand the impact to financial, competitive or personnel objectives.
RM’s solution or system proposal will first document the business goals for the intended system, provide the single or phased solution, track progress, then provide “Benefit Analysis” with measureable results. This process ensures the customer understands what he is purchasing and the expected results.

Design services: RadioMobile will create the total solution, for our customers review, ensure that design meets or exceeds their expectations, and presents the best use of existing infrastructure, software applications, off the shelf solutions, and ease of use for both the end users and management. Details for impact, cost and time to implement are expected components of any design.

Hardware

RadioMobile provides a wide range of mobile application products, from Location and /or Status only, to full Windows® base terminals of one or multiple pieces. We provide conventional modem technology covering speeds from 2400bps over MPT1327, MAP27 networks to 19.2 kbps and higher for conventional networks. We use the customers private as well as public networks and package the required functions for the customers ease of implementation, use and maintenance.

Software: RM has developed and continues to develop its Gateway, Link and mobile applications to ensure the meet the ever changing needs of our customers and cost effective technology. The software is based on both UNIX and Windows© operating systems, C, C++, C# in with a .net development environment.

Networking: RM has wireless network interfaces for Private conventional networks, Public, both GPRS and CDMA 1x rtt service, L-Band Satellite, EDACS and inband voice. We use IP interface protocols in most cases and continue to support, efficient MMP protocols for existing systems.

Solutions: RadioMobile has developed high volume AVL reporting systems using its conventional network hardware, capable of updating over 14,000 location reports per base station per hour. It also provides status with location reporting and limited messaging using its CMX heads most notably for Emergency Medical applications. Moving to more interactive solutions, RM provides its IQMobile application taylored to interface with major CAD providers using button touch screen hardware over one or more networks to ensure mobile connectivity. Most of RM solutions utilize the Gateway to interface with Host and LAN based data bases and the various wireless networks the customer wishes to imploy. The Gateway manages communication between the many networks using multiplexed serial ports configured individually for each particular network. Definitions within the Gateway allow the use of different mobile devices within the system and configure messages appropriately for that device. RM supports its Pulbic Safety customers by interfacing and certifying with many different states for CJIS and NCIC inquiry by their authorised officers.

Jim – Exec Administration, Sales
A Senior Executive with over 30 years of Wireless Systems development including Federal Express and Qualcomm. One of the early pioneers of Modern Mobile Data, the systems conceived, developed and implemented are still in operation with over 100,000 users worldwide. Founder of RadioMobile, Inc the company now boasts of strong financial position and growth. More recent product introduction include RM’s Wedge Mobile computer, as well as state of the art mobile computing platforms such as Third Party pads and notebooks specifically targeting Police, Emergency Medical, Utility and Transportation industries. The new RadioMobile, CMX 6000 status terminal with GPS and new display technology as well as integration of public packet wireless networks with other traditional networks. RM is one of the first companies to deploy mobile satellite packet data for Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical industries.

Thu– Switching and Application Development
Senior level Systems Engineer, BA in Computer Science from University of California. Over 12 years experience with UNIX and MS Windows 98,2K, XP environments. Extensive TCP/IP, NetBIOS, socket and TLI applications. Excellent background in C, C++ and Visual Basic programming. Switching application interfaces included work with NCIC, ACJIS public safety databases as well as TriTech, Intergraph, Access Data, GEAC, Geo911, PRC and other CAD providers.

Tom– Mobile Product Development and Field Systems
25 years Project Management experience including system implementation, product development, RF systems design and analysis, wireless network integration.
Professional employment includes, RadioMobile, Coded, Paradigm Wireless, Global Navigation systems, etc. Especially noted for his customer satisfaction, successful Acceptance Testing and training on both mobile and host based products.

Gary– Manufacturing – Hardware product support as well as outside manufacturing
Work experience includes such high profile companies as Science Applications International, Singer Kearfott, GEC Marconi. His experience qualifies him to understand manufacturing and quality for defense contracts. Gary more recently supported Codedand RMS as manufacturing technical advisor, Quality Control and Quality Assurance for shipments to our customers and components from our manufacturers. Gary oversees and performs firmware and software loading and provides customer service support.

Kathleen
Former retail owner/ manager for ten years, Kathleen has managed the financial, purchasing and human relations functions for RadioMobile, RMS, Inc. for the past 6 years.

RM makes extensive use of outside services to build its hardware products. RadioMobile also makes extensive use of a pool of contractors utilized on as needed basis for product design, electronic systems and software development, as well as field engineering and installations.
